Case 02 — The Curriculum
Nine days, one discipline
This is not a course you watch. You plan it, place it, scan it, design it, and deliver it — start to finish.
What sets the Marathon apart isn't a slide deck — it's that every candidate leaves having planned, cut, grafted, placed, and restored real cases themselves, with a mentor's hands never more than an arm's length away.
Foundations & first case
Lecture sessions on implant biomechanics, bone biology and healing, treatment planning principles, risk assessment and patient selection, and informed consent — followed by a CBCT interpretation workshop and a hands-on suturing and flap-design workshop. Day one also includes your first case: an evaluation case, performed under direct supervision, which establishes exactly where you stand so the eight days that follow can be calibrated to you.
02–08
Surgical immersion
Live surgery on carefully selected, real patients every day — guided bone regeneration, sinus augmentation, immediate loading, temporization, and connective-tissue and free gingival grafting — across cases ranging from single-tooth replacement to full-arch immediate-loading rehabilitation, interleaved with daily case-planning sessions, patient-management discussion, and digital workflow. Dedicated hands-on workshops in soft-tissue management and open sinus lift run alongside the clinical days.
Case presentation
Each candidate presents their completed cases to the group for review — the record of what they planned, placed, and restored over the preceding week.

Case 03 — The Cohort
Six continents, thirty-one countries
Candidates have come to Cairo for the Marathon from thirty-one countries across six continents. Australia remains the largest single contingent, but every cohort is genuinely international — clinicians who each decided the work here was worth the flight, wherever they were flying from. Owner of Torki's Dental Center & Academy in Heliopolis, Cairo, where every Implant Marathon candidate operates under his direct, in-theatre supervision — and where every patient's second-stage work and final restoration is carried out in-house by TACER's team of specialists and GPs after the candidates leave.

The questions candidates ask most often before committing to a cohort.
Can I place more than the 26 implants included in the program?
Yes. Additional implants can be arranged during your cohort at an extra cost.
Is Dr. Torki the sole supervisor?
Yes. Unlike programs that rotate candidates between several instructors, Dr. Torki supervises every candidate himself, through every case — so he can follow each candidate's progress case by case and correct it as it happens, rather than hearing about it second-hand.
Do I need to photograph my cases, or bring a camera?
No. Every surgery is fully documented by our team as it happens — both photographic documentation and written surgical notes. On your final day you leave with a logbook containing the surgical notes and photographs for every case you performed.
